The main structure is formed from 100mm treated timber posts at each corner, providing excellent strength, stability, and resistance to movement over time.

Internally, the shed is framed with 100 × 50mm C16 graded structural timber, including integrated wind bracing to maintain rigidity in exposed or windy locations. This construction method gives the shed a solid, permanent feel that far exceeds standard panel-built garden sheds.

The walls are clad in 15mm treated shiplap, offering reliable weather protection while maintaining a clean, traditional appearance. Underfoot, the floor is constructed from 22mm tongue and groove pine boards, supported by 50 × 50mm treated timber runners, making it suitable for heavy tools, machinery, and regular foot traffic.

Natural Light & Ventilation

The Big Storage Shed includes a single-glazed, toughened glass window to bring natural daylight into the interior, making the space easier and more comfortable to use. The window is top-hung, allowing it to be opened easily to improve airflow when required.
