• Durable Construction: The shed uses 100mm treated posts exposed at each corner for added strength. Its internal framework features 100x50mm CLS C16 structural timber and includes wind bracing to enhance stability.
• Quality Cladding and Flooring: The shed has 19mm thick treated shiplap timber cladding, offering reliable protection from the elements. The 22mm tongue and groove pine floorboards sit on 50x50mm treated timber runners, providing a solid base.
• Sturdy Roof and Trusses: 150x50mm C16 traditional timber trusses with a king post ensure the roof’s strength. We use 11mm OSB for roof boarding, waterproofed with a breather membrane, topped with reclaimed slate, and finished with clay ridge tiles for maximum durability.
• Ample Storage Space: The shed includes three 400mm deep shelves running along one wall, ideal for storing tools, equipment, and other items. Full-height OSB boarding on one side allows you to hang tools and organize your space efficiently.
• Easy Access: Two sets of double shiplap doors, each 1400mm wide, provide easy access. These doors have 100x50mm C16 CLS timber frames, are ledged and braced, and come with heavy-duty ironmongery for durability.
• Light and Ventilation: A single-glazed, toughened glass window, top-hung for easy opening, allows natural light to enter the shed and ensures ventilation.
