FAQ
General
1. Do I need to treat/paint the wood after the store is installed?
No, all timber used on our stores is tanislised pressure treated to protect against fungal attack and rot. We offer a 10 year guarantee on all our timber. As the timber is a natural product, it will weather over time and silver.
Just like fence panels, there is no harm in painting the store, it will only add to the longevity.
2. What type of base do I need to have for the store to be installed on to?
A flat, solid base is required as due to the weight of the products used to build our stores and the weight of the logs that will be kept in them, they are very heavy. If a solid base is not present, then the store is likely to sink into the ground and potentially deform over time.
The ideal base would be concrete, timber decking, flag stones, etc.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any queries regarding the above.
3. Do I have to install the store myself?
No, due to the roof being installed in a traditional roofing method, our trained team of installers carry out full installation on site so you don’t have to.
4. What if I have dimensions or a design in mind that doesn't match a product in your shop?
We offer a bespoke service for no extra cost and have produced over 100 bespoke stores. If you send us the dimensions and a design we will provide a sketch for your approval, from this we will build and install your bespoke store.
5. Is there an additional charge for the bespoke service?
No, there is no additional charge, all our stores are hand built to order. If there is not a store on our shop page that matches your requirements, then please contact us with sizes and design and we will produce a quotation for your store.

1. When buying a store from the online shop, when will my store be installed?

2. How are my products shipped and what are the costs?

3. What are access requirements for delivery?
Ideally, when delivering your store we would require a flat, solid, run from where we can park the van to where the store is going, this way we can wheel your store into place part built.
However, we know this is not always possible, so if access is restricted do not worry, we can bring the store in ‘flat pack form’ and install on site.
4. Returns
If you are not entirely happy with your product please speak to a member of the team who is installing your product and we will be happy to rectify any issues.
In the last 10 years we are proud to say that we have not had any returns of our products.
